Encrinurus is a genus of trilobite that lived in what would be Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America from the middle Ordovician to the early Devonian from 472—412.3 mya, existing for approximately 59.7 million years.


Encrinurus was named by Emmrich (1844). It was assigned to Phacopida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Encrinuridae by Jell and Adrain (2003).
